The idea of the Cosmic Form, which is called the Vishwarupa or the supreme form of Lord Vishnu, means that the whole universe is like a body as it is functions in harmony. It is all timed together, tuned to each other and not colliding with each other. The motion of the Sun, the Moon and everything else is timed perfectly. It’s just like the body organs functioning in rhythm, allowing the body to function as one.
In the field of astronomy, scientists are discovering that the entire solar system is vibrating, just like the breathing in and out in a body. Now they are beginning to discover that even the galaxy is breathing – its expanding and contracting. The black hole is known to eat everything that comes within its range, including light. There is so much more to know about it, but this whole universe seems to be living like a human being. The more we understand, the more we observe the similarities in God’s creations and that they are all functioning by His energy force.
Our spiritual scientists or saints tell us that what is in the macro-world is also in the microworld, which is within us. Yajurveda reveals, “Yatha pinde tatha brahmande, yatha brahmande tatha pinde”. It means that what is in the universe is also in the atom, what is outside is also within. In the solar system, we have the Sun in the center with the planets revolving around it. In the center of the atom is the nucleus and the electrons are revolving around that nucleus. So the same phenomenon, the same energy that is in the macro-world of the solar system, is manifesting within an atom and that same energy is also moving us. It is moving everything within us. Saints tell us that this power, the potential power to move, comes from the divine Word of God.
In Nature we observe that everything is in a state of vibration. The molecules in the air are vibrating. There are particles in plasma, which are vibrating. There are different varieties of them, but our sages have said that there exists a primordial Vibration, which is the fundamental Vibration. They tell us that the Word of God is in fact that ‘Primordial Vibration’. What is that Vibration which is in everyone? Some people call it the ‘Holy Name’, some call it ‘Ram Naam’. People have different names for it but in reality it’s the same thing. We should all strive to find this connecting factor that joins us all together with each other, with the universe and with God.
